Day Three Of The William And Kate Tour

Picture from Hollywoodlife.com

Day three of the royal tour, today the royals will carry on the tree planting tradition at Rideau Hall, this will be the 17th tree to be planted by royals, at the Hall since the first one planted in 1939. Shortly after that, they are going to meet a lot of war veterans and their wives.

Kate has been seen in 4 dresses so far, today in a more somber grey dress just above the knee, short sleeves with a collar at the back. had Kate is looking after her own wardrobe this trip, leaving the stylist at home, she did however bring her hairstylist.

Using the special silver spade, (that is kept wrapped in felt when not in use), William shoveled twice, then insisted that she shovel two scoops of soil in to the hole, over the roots of a Canadian Hemlock, after him, finding it slightly unexpected she got right in there, even though she was not dressed for it.

They are now busy talking to the people in the crowd , making many people happy, with their natural conviviality.

First Full Day In Canada For Royal Visitors

Kate was fetchingly dressed in patriotic colors, with a white dress and great red hat with maple leaves on top, love it! Red shoes and such a cute purse/handbag, how many did she bring I wonder?

How did Canada day go for the visiting royals, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge? They had a carriage ride in the sunshine, Looking out on to a sea of red and white clad Canadians, William made a touching speech with French, there was doubtless hands to shake, crowds of royal watchers to wave to and let's not forget the many meters of red carpet to walk down. Have they got jet lag, did they get enough sleep? With every day of the royal tour cram packed with duties, I sure hope so.

July 2nd lovely couple will arrive in Quebec, starting off with a tree planting ceremony then, the honer of meeting veterans and their families will be bestowed on them. Also a visit to the largest maternity center in Canada and attend a cooking workshop at a tourism and hotel institute.

Canadian Postal Workers Back To Delivering The Mail

Mail will delivery will be resuming today in Canada, but it will be quite a while before Canadians can expect regular mail service, as Canada is a big country there will be much mail accumulated.

The Crown Corporation is saying that "Starting up a national postal system in a country as big and diverse as Canada takes some time," Canada Post spokesman Jon Hamilton said in an interview.

"It is going to take some time overall to stabilize the system, get it back up to full capacity and ensure we can meet our delivery standards."

Hamilton said first priority will go to delivering mail that's been "trapped in the system" since rotating strikes started on June 3.

So breath a sigh of relief Canadians as soon you will get the letters the parcels the card that have been long awaited, this week maybe next.

Have the disputes been rectified? Jon Hamilton spokes person for Canada post says "There's no question we're going to have to, you know, rebuild relationships and figure out a way that we can work together to build a postal system that's going to serve Canadians well into the future."

The legislation makes postal workers to accept salaries that are lower than Canada Post's offered last time. On issues not related to wages, it imposes a form of winner-take-all arbitration in which the union and corporation will each make a final offer, one of which will be accepted.

"It's all favored towards Canada Post management and it's not going to be good for us," predicted George Floresco, third national vice-president of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.

So all is not over, will the Canadian Postal workers get a good deal, or will there be more disputes down the line?

Karen Gillan Naked In Hotel Corridor

Fictionally traveling through time and space, being the sidekick of the time Lord Dr Who, not enough for Karen Gillan she tried some all night parting, in the real world of New York. When she found her self locked out of the hotel suite, naked and tired (possibly drunk) no wonder she was whimpering poor Karen.
A long time resident of the hotel told the Daily Mail, "I went to the peephole and looked out. I saw a man at the lift who was looking back at someone who was attempting to open my door. Then I saw this young woman, completely naked, trying to wrap two towels around her and not having much luck."

Not to worry though the hotel security wrapped her up and took her back to the fancy suite she was staying in.

Karen did not wish to say anything about the incident.

It seems Karen is fond of the parties and booze, as this is not the first time she has been seen in the wee hours of the morning finding her way home.
