Three Movies That Could Be Worth Watching

So what new movies are worth watching, if you are to spend your dollars on cinematic entertainment, what will you chose? There are sequels on the offing, here are my top three picks the ones I want to see.

We fans of Harry Potter are ready to watch July 15th, will not be disappointed with the conclusion hitting the screens this year, all fans have read the books, (unless you don't like the extra details book reading offers) so you all know the ending, but it will be great to see on screen can't wait.

Transformers dark of the moon is coming out on June 29th, this is full of special effects and unreasonable damage to property, people running for their lives to supply tension and excitement, the battle of good and evil rages on.

Cars 2 promises to be high flying fun as one of the cars does start to fly, the trailer show promise, full of quips and wit, daring do and courage, talking machines, again but without the dramatic overtones of impending doom of transformers.

TrendNews: Kate Is Thrifty Reusing Clothing

Yeah for the new royal Kate, her royal Duchness, shows no compunction in wearing a item of clothing for a second time. It was two years ago she wore this stunning coat to a wedding and she put it on again, for a Prince Philip's (father-in-law)90th birthday at Windsor Castle. Although we like to see new outfits on those in the public eye, there is a lot to be said for going through the the clothing again, after all us normal folk wear our clothes many times before assigning them to the charity shop.
As for the princes in the family I suspect they wear their suits a lot more times than twice, but who can tell? May be their tailors?

Canada Post Lockout Mail Service Discontinued

No more mail, the rotating strikes where not working, as no progress was being made at the negotiation table, so now it's an all out strike, until an agreement can be set up. Workers at Canada Post have actually been without a contract for the past 8 months, now it's all come to a head, as further sacrifices have been demanded of it's workers.
So if you have ordered anything online, relying on Canada post, at any point on the journey to you, your not getting them for a while. As the postal workers have been locked out by the union, even though many workers showed up for work they surprised when told to go home.
In a nut shell the dispute is not trivial, they want to cut benefits, change how long their holidays are, cut pensions, diminish wages, change sick day benefits and make the walking carriers carry much more. Personally I think they have a reason to strike, it's just so darned inconvenient.

So if you have a pension cheque coming, don't hold your breath, and no not getting your credit card bill is not a good enough excuse for not paying it, your credit score will still be affected.
Although stand in workers may fill in for people on strike, it may not happen if history repeats itself, for back in 1997 the replacement workers could not get past the picket lines.

Netflix, is a wise choice for so many people, it costs way less than having cable tv, or satellite companies. Personally I have not had cable for many yrs and not missed it one bit, not since with the push of a few keys I can watch whatever I like, my main challenge is remembering what I want to watch. Seriously though it's expensive enough, paying the internet fees why would a person pay for both?

So many people are dissing the new Netflix layout, many people like the tried and true methods of doing things, but without change there is no progress, we would be stagnant. Amid the sea of complaints over the new layout, Steve Swasey the vice president of Netflix feels the same way, he had this to say about the negative comments,

"Most of have the same theme, which is ‘what was wrong with before?’ What we’re saying is we’ve tested this extensively, we know the vast, vast majority of people like this. It’s new, it’s easier, it’s cleaner.” When questioned about whether Netflix is planning on keeping the new interface despite the negative response, Swasey said, “Absolutely. We made it and tested it and researched it and tried it out and everywhere we tried it, it had a better reception. Otherwise we wouldn’t have made the change."

Fathers Day Doesn't Mean You Have To Spend Money

Sunday June 19th

Yes it's time again to show your appreciation, for the man who, if your lucky and he still is around, drives you to all the after school stuff, or may be that is your Mom, well he er makes your lunches? Or does the laundry, gives you really good hugs. I am sure that your dad is amazing to you in some way.
You love to get gifts right, well do something for him cause he will love getting gifts too, don't worry if you don't have a lot of cash, there are other ways to show your appreciation without spending.

1.You can make him a card, go easy on the sparkles girls.
2.Do an extra chore or two, without pay.
3.Go with him to something he wants to do (after all he does that for you all the time)
4.Help him in the garden.
5.Walk the dog together
6.Paint him a picture
7.Play a video game together

What ever it is you plan, have a pleasant time talking, don't bring up issues that you guys quarrel over, if he brings them up, remind him this is to be a day of laughter, joy and connection.

Of course you can spend money too, it is important to remember to get something he will enjoy, pay attention to what he does, so you can spend your money wisely.
